On the top, the rain accord created by Ane Ayo gives the fragrance its freshness. The heart note is where the lilac’s enveloping floral notes are revealed, harmonising with damask rose to offer a fresh, delicate flowery bouquet. In the base, the sandalwood, cedarwood and musky notes give depth and roundness to the fragrance.

On the heart note, the lilac, A Drop d’Issey signature is not extracted from the flower in its natural state. It comes from the imagination of the perfumer, Ane Ayo, thanks to green chemistry designed to protect the environment.
